We were traveling last week and stayed in Santa Clara near California’s Great America. Next to our hotel was a Red Robin. It was still open when we got back for CGA cold and hungry. My husband had read somewhere that they were gluten free friendly. So we gave it a try. I was skeptical. I asked the waiter about the “Bottomless Steak Fries” they serve and if they were fried in the same fryer as other things like onion rings, chicken strips, etc. He said no they were cooked in their own fryer. I was skeptical to say the least. His English was not super clear, I wasn’t positive he understood me correctly. When my Chicken Bruschetta Sandwich minus the cheese came on its savory gluten free bun, it looked too good to be true! I was so hungry and went ahead and ate both the sandwich and the fries. They were both so good! And I did not get sick at all! Super great! We will definitely go back if we are on the road and need to eat a chain restaurant! Way to go Red Robin.
